While WoD kind of turned me off from participating in endgame, I'm hoping Legion will keep me enthralled and I have enough free time this time around to actually try to abuse being active for the first few months.Д«ecause of this, I want to fully abuse professions from the get-go to actually earn some money. But I also want to actually try in this expansion. My gut tells me that I should just pick Skinning and LW and just do what I've always done and just sort of not abuse crafting. I know on my Warlock I'll be sticking with Enchanting and Tailoring because I've spent a lot of time on them and have gotten tons of patterns and stuff.Д«ut I'll more than likely be maining a Demon Hunter, which means I'll have a totally new character with brand new professions. Gather everything in your path and sell, sell, sell!

Make sure they are 100+ before 110 so you can still trigger world quests. If you can't be bothered putting any effort into professions double gathering will probably be best. Ench has less scope with less enchant slots available.

Gem slots are still more sparse than before WoD, though.ДЄlch/Ench same reliable gold machines. Jewelcrafting might be a good alternate with ore shuffling/prospecting back. Darkmoon Cards always make bank at the start of an expansion. Vantus Runes and Tomes/AoE Tomes for talent swapping are new and potentially very valuable.

If you don't want to go through the effort of swapping and leveling professions, just take one crafting and complementary gathering. Make sure you take and keep the gathering profession that works with your crafting profession. Sell excess materials you don't need in the first few weeks/months to make a lot of gold then swap one gathering to crafting of your choice. Taking double gathering at the start might be worthwhile due to the gold price on Felhide, Felwort and Infernal Brimstone. Gathering also a good source of Blood of Sargeras that's not limited (world quests only pop up so often etc). Need 100+ in a gathering profession to trigger world quests to collect. All these items are required for high level crafting. Only way to gather Felhide, Felwort, Infernal Brimstone.
